Miss Sarah’s Schoolhouse is a licensed, in-home Christian preschool and after-school program in Windsor, CO. We serve families with a commitment to Christ-centered learning, personalized instruction, and a heart for raising up the next generation of disciples. Now entering our 6th year, we invite you to explore a program where your child will be known, nurtured, and empowered.

Miss Sarah’s Schoolhouse is more than just a preschool—it’s a classroom nestled in the warmth and comfort of a home. Our in-home setting allows children to experience the security, calm, and familiarity of a home environment while still benefitting from the routines, schedules, and structured learning found in a traditional classroom.
Set near a peaceful lake and surrounded by simple, rural beauty, our schoolhouse offers something truly special:
• Daily interaction with our three resident hens (yes, chickens!), fostering responsibility, empathy, and nature-based learning
• A backyard and play areas where children explore, imagine, and enjoy fresh air
• Calm rhythms and sensory-friendly transitions that support emotional regulation and peaceful growth
• A strong spiritual foundation, where students learn about Jesus not only through stories, but also through real-life modeling, nature, and nurturing care

Meet Miss Sarah
Hi, I’m Miss Sarah! I’ve spent over 10 years in early childhood education through internships, ministry school, and classroom teaching. I’m a licensed preschool provider, CDA-certified, and passionate about creating a space where faith and learning go hand-in-hand.
After completing my time in ministry school and working with children in various educational and church settings, I felt God’s call to launch Miss Sarah’s Schoolhouse. What started as a dream to teach boldly and love intentionally has become a vibrant community focused on spiritual growth and academic readiness.

Curriculum Highlights:
• The Creative Curriculum + Horizons Preschool Homeschool
• Child-led discovery with structure and purpose
• Daily devotionals, worship, and Bible stories
• Social-emotional development, early literacy, STEM, and fine motor activities
• Breakfast Lunch and snack provided
• Enrichments: lil Monsters Playground, Amazing Athletes, Zumbini & more
UPK or Private Pay Eligible
We offer a comprehensive curriculum that is tailored to meet the developmental needs of each child. Our curriculum is based on the latest research in early childhood education and is designed to promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development. We use a variety of teaching strategies and materials to engage children in active learning and help them develop a love of learning that will last a lifetime.
Our program is split between two offerings, Two Day Enrollment (part time) or Four Day Enrollment (Full Time)
We Do not offer “Half Day” enrollments.
Our Part Time program fits perfectly with the UPK program for all qualifying 4 year olds.
Our Program Lasts Late August Through May Similar to the Weld Re4 Schedule. Please review our calendar for specific dates.

Summer Time with Miss Sarah is all about Peace Joy and Adventure! We often start our mornings slower, continental breakfast style with outdoor fun and caretaking of our animals.
We then move into an adventure of sorts, sometimes pack our lunches and return before pick up window! Please review our calendar and contact Miss Sarah from drop ins and scheduled enrollment
